WE’VE LOST OUR NOODLES! In order to show & educate our community about the sport of CHEER & TUMBLING, we are offering 5-WEEK CLASSES to the first 75 people that register ONLINE. We will NOT take registrations over the phone or the front desk. YOU MUST Register online from our homepage… a $15 Insurance fee does apply.

Congratulations to Youth Sunshine for becoming the 1st UCA International Champions!! Way to go Sunshine!

Also… Congrats to Junior Inferno for placing 3rd day 2 at UCA Nationals and finishing 4th overall in a very intense division.

RESULTS from 2012-13 Assessments

Thank You to all that attended Assessment
Week. The same 3 Coaches along with
additional VAS Staff attended ALL 4
Assessments to ensure continuity.
Additionally, clear scoring grids using the USASF Levels Grid defined
our expectations and scores given in order to determine the teams below. The overall goal was to place EACH athlete on
a team that works towards reaching their potential. We want each athlete on a team where they
feel they have a clear role and will contribute fully to the routine and
scoresheet. This is how to ensure a
positive and fun experience for each athlete next season. We are asking Parents and Athletes to TRUST
that we as the VAS Staff understand the sport of Cheer, the overall vision for
our ENTIRE GYM and that we have shown through 11 successful seasons that we are
not, by accident, a leading force in this industry.

Jr2, Sr2 Weather Girls and Sr2 Avalanche for their Victories in Edmonton: Jr2 placed 1st and Sr2 Weather Girls also placed 1st with Avalanche taking a close 2nd.

BCIT Competition Shout Outs

Wow!! All the VAS Teams placed either 1st or 2nd!! Also…Congrats to Sr2 Weather Girls for being the Level 2 Grand Champions at the BCIT Golden Ticket Competiton and for Yth3 winning the Level 3 Grand Champions.
